A spokesman for the force said: “The A82 is closed in both directions between Tyndrum and Ballachulish Bridge following a report of a fire at a property around 5.40pm on Saturday, 8 February, 2025.
Emergency services were called to the paedophile’s former home in Glencoe, Scotland, at around 5.30pm on Saturday.
The home’s new owner has been granted planning permission to demolish the existing single-storey house and replace it with a new four-bedroom, one-and-a-half storey house.
But the Glencoe estate, like other aspects of his life, was overshadowed by his horrific crimes and has been vandalised repeatedly ever since.
