A former Premier League winner has reportedly terminated his contract early at Greek club Olympiacos as he begins the search for a new club. The 36-year-old arrived at the Karaiskakis Stadium this summer after making more than 300 top-flight appearances in England across three different clubs.

However, injuries have limited his playing time with the UEFA Conference League winners and he now departs after making just two league starts. The player in question is former Brazil international Willian, who made 37 appearances in all competitions for Fulham last season.

Reports from his native country claim Willian chose to terminate his deal as he does not fit Olympiacos' current playing style. He is also said to be intent on remaining in Europe as he searches for the ninth club of his career. Willian has terminated his contract at Olympiacos less than six months after joining the Greek club.

On Sunday the winger shared a video of himself working out on a stationary bike to his Instagram story.

After starting his career with Corinthians, Willian became renowned for his performances with Shakhtar Donetsk in Europe, and was part of the side that won the UEFA Cup in 2009. Despite undergoing a medical at Tottenham, he would eventually find his way to Chelsea in the summer of 2013 and would go on to spend seven years at Stamford Bridge.
