Former PM Rishi Sunak in new career move as he takes one step closer to living in California

RISHI Sunak is one step closer to living his California dream after taking up a part-time post at Stanford University. The ex-PM yesterday announced he will work as a Distinguished Visiting Fellow at the Hoover Institute, focusing on issues including tech, global security and the economy.
Mr Sunak, who owns a £7.2m pad in sunny Santa Monica, will also take up a separate job at Oxford University. The Oxford role will see him join the Blavatnik School as a Distinguished Fellow. The ex-PM won’t be paid for either roles. The former PM will undertake while continuing his role as an MP.
But he will bag expenses from Stanford. Millionaire Mr Sunak said: “Oxford and Stanford shaped my life, and I look forward to contributing to their world-class work addressing the challenges and the technological opportunities of our time.”. Mr Sunak married millionaire Akshata Murthy in 2009.- but he also made his fortune from his years in banking.
