"He is around 5ft tall and was last seen wearing a black tracksuit and black Nike trainers.
In a statement, a spokesperson for the force said: "He was last seen on New Year’s Eve in Bristol.
He has links to Luton and Dunstable in Bedfordshire, as well as Barry in Wales, say South Wales Police.
The teenager, named as Prince, disappeared from Bristol before being reported missing by his family.
