Taking to Reddit's CasualUK subreddit, the receiver of the kind gesture penned: "Got given 120 Freddos by sweet friends following diagnosis of a medical condition.
However, now a shopper spotted the snacks being sold for £1 - a 900 per cent increase from the original 10p cost.
Sharing a photo of the 18g bar on sale for the huge sum, a person wrote on Reddit: "£1 for a Freddo is disgusting.
