After releasing the hero balancing tweaks for Season 1 earlier this week, NetEase has dropped the full Marvel Rivals patch notes for today's update, and while there's plenty for players to tuck into, it's left some PC players frustrated. The new season of Marvel Rivals is here! We've waved goodbye to Season 0 after its five week stint, and are buckling ourselves in for Marvel Rivals Season 1, which is introducing a ton of new content to the game, including the first two members of the Fantastic Four. NetEase delved into the new seasonal content in the run-up to its release, with the Season 1 highlights being the new maps, a new team deathmatch mode, a new rank, hero balancing, and the new heroes and skins.
The early Marvel Rivals patch notes covered the extensive hero adjustments, with nerfs and buffs aplenty! Hulk, Hela, and Hawkeye took a hit in the nerf department, with the tweaks focusing more on the heroes themselves than Team-Ups; not that the latter was left untouched by any means. NetEase says it'll be revisiting Team-Ups once it has more data to work with, so this might be something we'll see more of in the mid-season update.
Today's Marvel Rivals patch notes get into the nitty gritty of everything else, from bug fixes to the new Season 1 content – which also includes the Season 1 Battle Pass. And now the Season 1 Twitch Drops are live as well, so you can unlock the the Hela Will of Galacta Costume, as well as the Hela Will of Galacta Spray and Hela Will of Galacta nameplate.
