The title of the book is a reference to the sell-out and award-winning West End play “Dear England” which was taken from an open letter he wrote to England fans during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Southgate led England to a World Cup semi final and back-to-back Euros finals after instigating a different style of management while in charge.
