Gary Neville left squealing in pain after X-rated response to WWE legend and Liverpool fan

Gary Neville was no stranger to a bit of aggro during his playing career, but he met his match when he went up against WWE legend Sheamus. Neville gamely agreed to be put through his paces by the Irishman while appearing on a podcast with him. But what he perhaps didn’t envisage is just how much pain he would be subjected to in the process.
Sheamus is an avid Liverpool fan, which unfortunately for Neville, means he isn’t fond of the Manchester United stalwart. He put his cards on the table early in the conversation on It's Called Soccer! and, after discussing football and wrestling, he seized the opportunity to rough Neville – or "The Weasel" to give him his wrestling name – up a bit.
After directing Neville to lie on the floor – and taking the mickey out of his Dolce & Gabbana trainers – Sheamus got to work. “S***! F***ing hell!” Neville screamed nervously as Sheamus let him know “you know I’ve wanted to do this since I was probably 12 or 14 years old?”.
The WWE legend then put Neville into a submission called the Clover Leaf, folding his knees in and flipping him over so his face was against the floor. “Now, say Liverpool are going to win the league!” he shouted. "F*** Liverpool!" Neville responded.
“Say it Gary! Say it! Say Liverpool are number one!” After a few more shouts, some screaming laughter from host Rebecca Lowe and a muffled reply from Neville, Sheamus was satisfied and let him go. Asked if it hurt, Neville said his neck was a bit sore. “He nearly broke my neck! Jesus!”.
