Neville's beloved United travel to Merseyside on Sunday afternoon searching for a shock result against Arne Slot's Premier League leaders, with the hosts favouring another demolition job of their arch rivals.

However, there was concern the game wouldn't go ahead due to severe snow that has swept across England during the course of the weekend and left Anfield blanketed. A safety inspection was carried out by officials at midday and the match was later given the green light to go ahead, but Neville - like many United supporters - was evidently hoping for a postponement.
