GLASTONBURY fans are convinced that Britpop legends will play their classic album in full at next year’s festival. The rumour mill is churning and the clamour for festival season 2025 line-ups is already in full swing. And Glasto fans have now speculated that Supergrass could show up and perform their tracks.

The group fully formed in 1995 and they became a big band in the 90s, with their debut album I Should Coco selling more than one million copies worldwide. The band split in 2010 but, much to the delight of fans, reunited in 2020 – and taking to social media, some seem certain that they’ll pop up at Glastonbury.

A Supergrass fan penned: “Am I mad in thinking Supergrass will be nailed on to appear? They’re touring a lot next year, and looking at the dates, they’re in Australia for the early part of June, then do a show in Margate, ending up in Bristol on the 25th (very handy) and then not another show until 3rd of July.

“Or is it more likely that they’ve put themselves in the shop window, hoping to get a call?”. In response, one person penned: “It would be really nice if they played, but I wouldn’t say they’re nailed on.”. Someone else noticed they’re playing Bristol Sounds just before Glastonbury, leading the poster to reply: “They’re playing Bristol Sounds the Wednesday, so I think this makes them likely for Glasto…”.

In September, Supergrass announced their reunion tour to celebrate the 30th anniversary of their debut album. It’s the first time that the Oxford band will play their debut album I Should Coco live in its entirety, and Glastonbury fans are certainly hoping for the same at the festival.
