GLASTONBURY fans have had their say on yet another act that they think could have signed up to the popular music festival. The rumour mill has been going into overdrive in recent weeks about just who could have landed a spot on the coveted line-up. Now, some fans think that a solo star from a popular band could be heading to the festival in June.

Lauren Mayberry originally found fame in the band CHVRCHES but she has since branched out on her own. She released a solo album earlier this year and is due to head out on the road throughout January, February and March of next year. Her tour is currently lined up to finish in the UK at the end of March with fans speculating that she could be making a grand return to the stage in June for Glasto.

Writing online, one said: "Lauren Mayberry has already proven her Glastonbury ability with CHVRCHES in previous years. "A solo set at the festival would allow her to showcase her own recently released album. "No tour dates announced beyond March yet.". It led to another to add: "I'd be very surprised if Ms Mayberry wasn't there tbh.".

Her band CHVRCHES are no stranger to being on the Glasto line-up having performed there both in 2023 and 2016. However, if fan speculation turns out to be true, it would be the first time that Lauren will have sang solo at the Somerset festival. It comes as The Sun exclusively revealed three huge popstars had been booked to perform at the event next year.
