Golden Globes 2025: Aubrey Plaza to present award, what celebs eat and nominees

The Golden Globes are back with a bang – with nominees including Ariana Grande and Zendaya. Nominees were revealed last month for the star-studded 82nd awards ceremony, which will be brought to viewers on CBS and streamed live on Paramount+ from 8 p.m. Eastern on Sunday (1am - 4am UK time Monday. This year, actress Aubrey Plaza is scheduled to present at the ceremony.
However, in recent hours, Aubrey has suffered the ultimate heartache after the death of her husband Jeff Baena. The Dirty Grandpa actress, 40, is set to appear at the 82nd Golden Globe Awards on Sunday night. She will be joined by co-presenters including Salma Hayek, Anya Taylor-Joy and Anthony Ramos. Currently, it is not known whether Aubrey has decided to step back from her presenting duties following Jeff's death.
Ahead of the ceremony, the Mirror have brought you a run down of what you need to know. Nikki Glaser will leading the hosting duties on Sunday. Known for her scorching humour, particularly at celebrity roasts, Glaser has recently taken jabs at Tom Brady, mocking his tangled romantic history and past support for cryptocurrency. Her HBO special "Someday You’ll Die" nabbed her an Emmy nomination, canvassing subjects from subsidising friends' abortions to her most intense porn preferences.
Glaser names Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, and Ricky Gervais as her comic muses, stepping into the role after Jo Koy's previous hosting stint was met with critique over his opening monologue and rapid-fire delivery. . Kicking off her roast early at Thursday's red carpet rollout, she quipped about the Globes’ network, saying: "We’re on CBS, which has a show called ’60 Minutes,′ because that’s the remaining lifespan of many of its viewers.".
