Vickers has now been jailed for life with a minimum of 15 years after being found guilty for Scarlett's murder at their home in Darlington, County Durham, on July 5 last year.
Vickers claimed the playfight started when he and Scarlett began throwing grapes at each other while mum Sarah Hall made dinner.
He said Vickers' partner Sarah Hall - Scarlett's mum - was "absolutely broken" after he was found guilty by a jury.
