GTA 6 release date still on track for Fall 2025, confirms Take-Two – chill out everyone The GTA 6 release date is constantly under scrutiny, with players constantly concerned that the huge game could be delayed any second – but TakeTwo insists it's still on track for launch this year.
Rockstar Games’ parent company, Take-Two Interactive, has revealed an even smaller window of release for GTA 6 in its earnings report for the third financial quarter of the year, writing that "This calendar year is shaping up to be one of the strongest ever for Take-Two, as we plan to launch Sid Meier's Civilization 7 on 11th February, Mafia: The Old Country in the summer, Grand Theft Auto 6 in the Fall, and Borderlands 4.".
Though fans of the franchise have been concerned that the huge budget and scope of the upcoming game could potentially delay the GTA 6 release date, we now have confirmation that, internally at least, nothing has changed, and the proposed 2025 release window is still on track.
It’s a refreshing detail that players have been holding out hope for, and though it might be unbelievable to some, the GTA 6 release date is still on track to launch in Fall of this very year.
The game’s first trailer was a huge moment in the industry, but sadly, things have been quiet ever since, as players are lured into release delay rumours that have caused them to massively panic with no confirmation either way from the game’s team.
