Harry Kane breaks silence on Bayern transfer clause as Arsenal tipped for sensational swoop Harry Kane is keeping tight-lipped on reports that he could be set for a shock return to the Premier League next year due to a release clause in his contract.
Plenty of English clubs have already been tipped to make a move for Kane in the wake of his release clause being made public, including his former club, Tottenham, and Manchester United, who were heavily linked with him before his Bundesliga switch.
Speaking after notching two goals - both from the penalty spot - in Bayern's 3-0 win over Werder Bremen, Kane was asked the question and responded coyly: “What I can say is that I’m very happy at FC Bayern.
“Maybe Tottenham will buy him back but he’ll have to win something at Bayern Munich to go back to Tottenham.
That would potentially open the door for Kane to return to England - but he refused to comment when he was quizzed about said clause on Friday.
