With Christmas just around the corner, revellers up and down the country hit the town on 'Black Eye Friday' to celebrate the festive season. The Friday before Christmas Eve has earned the nickname 'Black Eye Friday' due to the number of fights that break out in bars, pubs and clubs, with A&E departments in full swing.
But revellers seemed in good spirits as they flooded into city centres to drink, eat and dance the night away. Partygoers donned their Christmas finest, with necklines almost as plunging as the tempertures. The fancy dress was also out in full force, with people dressed as Santa, reindeers and some epic Christmas jumpers on display.
While many of the revellers may have only hazy memories of what went on last night, MailOnline takes a look at the evidence... LEEDS: Two young women roar with laughter as they swig from a bottle of wine in the street. LEEDS: Three woman hit Leeds City Centre to celebrate the festive season.
