Heavyweight star issues Anthony Joshua warning: 'I want to knock you out'

Top heavyweight contender Martin Bakole has taken Anthony Joshua's recent comments about him to heart and has now issued a scathing warning to the Brit. Bakole, shocked the world in his last fight back in August after knocking out Jared Anderson. The 31-year-old is now scheduled to go head-to-head with Efe Ajagba in an IBF final eliminator to determine a mandatory challenger for Daniel Dubois' coveted gold strap.
Joshua - a two-time heavyweight world champion - recently visited his ancestral home of Nigeria and was quick to weigh in and offer his verdict about the showdown between Bakole and Ajagba. "Two giants of Africa coming together to collide. It’s going to be an interesting fight," he told Sportsboom. "Efe is a good boxer, and obviously, I’m going to support Efe, even though he doesn’t support me. I’m backing him because we are from the same place, and I really want to see him do well.”.
It's fair to say Joshua's choice of words didn't go down to well with Bakole - who shared his response to the Brit's comments on social media. “Anthony Joshua, I called you out. I wanted to knock you out," he said. "Now you’re talking s**** to say Ajagba is going to beat me.
"Shame on you. How many times did I call you out? How many times did I ask you to fight in Africa? You should be ashamed of yourself. I want to fight you. I want to knock you out. Look at Daniel Dubois, I broke his nose twice. He knocked you out cold. If you fight me, I’ll knock you out in the first round.
