Kyle Whiting was getting a trim when he spotted an officer being punched by a thug at a bus stop in Warrington, Cheshire.
Kyle still had his barber's cape on as he wrestled with the yob until two further police vehicles pulled up.
Kyle was keeping an eye on what was going on outside, because his sister is a police officer.
