While there was plenty to enjoy out on the cricket pitch during the final day of the Boxing Day Test, some fans were spotted keeping themselves amused in the stands at the MCG in other ways. Pat Cummins' side muscled their way to a thrilling 184-run victory against India on Monday, securing a 2-1 lead in the Border-Gavaskar series against India.

Australia had rattled their way through the India batters on Monday with Pat Cummins and Scott Boland both taking a trio of wickets each. There were plenty of talking points from the match, including Yashasvi Jaiswal's controversial DRS review and Akash Deep's edge to Travis Head.

But there was plenty to talk about in the crowd too, with a record number of patrons turning out for this week's Boxing Day Test, with 74,362 people walking through the turnstiles at the MCG for the final day. That meant that 373,691 fans had been in attendance at the iconic stadium throughout the week.

That surpassed the record for the most fans to attend a Test in Australia which was initially set in 1937, when Don Bradman scored 270 runs against England.
