In today's economy, snagging a home can feel like an impossible dream for many young professionals, couples, and families. So when a property pops up that's a bargain compared to the rest, it's wise to act fast if you're keen to bag it. The estimated average house price in the UK was £282,000 in January this year, according to official statistics. That's why a viral £70,000 property on Clouds Hill Road, Bristol is causing such a stir - but there's a twist.

Over the past year, Clouds Hill Road has seen an average property price of £221,500. According to Rightmove, most sales in the area were flats, fetching an average of £189,833, while terraced homes went for about £316,500. The talk of the town is a one-bedroom flat that looks pretty standard from the outside. However, step inside and you're immediately in a space that combines the kitchen, bedroom, and living area.

Singer and rapper Bushrod took to his TikTok page @housinghorrors to dish out his take on this compact abode, where he shares "horrific" housing tales. Commenting on the Bristol £70K apartment, he remarked: "There is so much to unravel here people.". "It's literally like one corridor. There's a little kitchenette at the back but there's no cooker or hob. There's no microwave. There is absolutely nowhere to cook anything.".

The property's lack of radiators was also noted, with only a small plug-in heater, two sets of plugs, and one window available. Speaking about the bathroom, Bushrod commented: "Bathroom isn't actually a bad size for one person, but that's pretty horrendous." The bathroom includes a sink and small unit, toilet, and shower with a shower curtain.
