Mr Greenhalgh, Executive Secondaries Headteacher for the Oak Learning Partnership to confirm students from Hazel Wood High School school were involved.
He said: “We have been notified about a disturbance that occurred after school on Poplar Avenue, away from the school, which involved some of our students.
Footage allowed a large group of youths, thought to have involved students, becoming involved in the disturbance, Manchester Evening News reported.
“I want to assure parents, guardians, and our community that despite these issues occurring away from school and out of school time, we take these matters very seriously.
