Humberside Police confirmed a further 29 children, aged between 11 and 16, suffered minor injuries. Horrified parent Donna Cooper told how her daughter, 15, was on the bus and had her front teeth knocked. Ms Cooper told the BBC: "All I got was part of a video call and all I could see was blood everywhere.

"When I got there, it was just carnage. "When I eventually found her, she was stood with a bandage to her mouth and when she took it away there was blood everywhere.". The mum said her daughter had "suffered quite bad facial trauma". Fellow traumatised parents shared their eye-witness accounts on social media.

One wrote in Hull Live's Traffic and Travel Facebook group: "I was there myself within 10 minutes of happening for my step daughter along with her mum. "It was an horrific sight to see for all involved, unfortunately it’s more than just minor injuries for some.".

Another added: "My children where on the bus behind, I’ve been and picked them up, I think from the sound of things everyone escaped with only minor injury’s. "Just a lot of very shaken up children". Meanwhile, a person claiming to be the bus driver's parent wrote: "My son was the driver and he's in a state of shock and has minor injuries.".
