AT LEAST two people have died in a terrifying plane crash after the aircraft smashed into a packed warehouse before exploding. Harrowing footage shows the deadly collision as a giant fireball erupts after the small plane ripped through the building in California.

Another 19 people were left injured with at least 10 being rushed to hospital, according the Fullerton Police Department. Others received emergency care just outside the warehouse which sat just six miles away from Disneyland. Aerial images of the destroyed building show how a giant hole had been created after the plane tore through the roof,.

Debris from the charred wreckage can also be seen sat inside. Footage shows the moment the plane lost control and hit the warehouse as it flew in almost on its side. As it hit a giant inferno ripped through the building as plumes of black smoke billowed into the air following the fireball blast.

The four seat, single-engine Van's RV-10 crashed at around 14:15PST on Thursday, according to the Federal Aviation Administration. Police quickly evacuated the building as several fire crews arrived to extinguish the flames and rescue those still trapped inside.

It is still unclear if those who died were employees at the company or in the aircraft. In a post on X, congressman Lou Correa confirmed that at least a dozen of the hospitalised victims had been working in the factory. Around 100 workers were ultimately evacuated.
