Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly signed a new deal with Saudi Pro League side Al-Nassr which will confirm his position as the world's highest-paid footballer. The 39-year-old superstar joined Gulf state outfit in a blockbuster move in January 2023 on the heels of his acrimonious departure from Manchester United.
The Portugal international received a staggering contract which sees him make around £164million per season for his on-pitch contributions, with another £49m of his salary coming from ventures off the field. Now, his salary will leap up to over £167.9m (€200m) as he extends his deal by a further year - and the 39-year-old will also receive a share of the club's ownership to further boost his reported £500m net worth.
But how has Ronaldo spent his mega-millions over recent years?. Here, Mail Sport runs the rule over the player's lavish lifestyle and his investments in luxury transport, property, and diamond-encrusted watches. Cristiano Ronaldo (pictured with partner Georgina Rodriguez) enjoys a lavish lifestyle supported by his staggering £500m net worth.
The Portugal star's storied collections include one of watches, such as the the Franck Muller Invisible Baguette Diamonds Imperial Tourbillon - worth £1.13m. Eye-popping too are the sums spent on his property portfolio, with one development (CGI rendering pictured) now set to end up costing over £28m.
After spending the first few months of his time in Riyadh in the appropriately opulent Four Seasons hotel, where their 'Kingdom Suite' cost a whopping £250,000 per month, Ronald and his family finally put down roots in 2024 with the purchase of a mansion in the exclusive residential area of Al Muhammadiyah.
