A former Love Island contestant has reportedly signed up to return in the new series of spin-off All Stars after having split up from their partner just "a few weeks ago". Curtis Pritchard, 28 - who appeared on the ITV2 show in 2019 - is rumoured to be among the returning islanders for the second series of All Stars, which launches next week. The new season's line-up has yet to be announced though.
It has reported by the Sun this week that Curtis has "already flown out" to South Africa. The outlet also reports that he "jumped" at the opportunity after splitting from his partner Sophie Sheridan towards the end of last year. A source told the Sun: "Curtis split from Sophie a few weeks ago after the pair decided they were better off as friends." They added that the pair's romance had "run its course" and he could not see the relationship "going any further".
The source continued by saying: "It came at the right time, as Love Island bosses were also desperate to get him back on the show for All Stars." They said that when approached by bosses over returning, he "jumped" at the chance. It's further claimed by the source that "newly-single" Curtis thought returning to the villa and having the chance find love again was "a no brainer". The source added: "He loved doing Love Island first time around and now that he's single it's come at a great time for him.".
Amid the speculation though, Curtis shared posts on his Instagram Story on Monday that suggested he was still in the UK. The posts, some of which were shared by his brother AJ Pritchard's partner Zara Zoffany, had venues in London tagged. Zara teased that the trio had breakfast together on Monday in one of them and Curtis added the location of a private members club in the city when he later shared it.
