A mum has told how she filmed herself being strangled by her TikTok influencer girlfriend and feared she would die. Lauren Javens, 22, revealed the horror abuse she suffered for five years at the hands of Hollie Hanson, who was jailed on January 17. Hanson, from Knottingley, Yorkshire, admitted intentional strangulation, making threats to kill, wounding with intent and engaging in coercive and controlling behaviour in an intimate relationship, as well as common assault.

She was jailed for three four years and given an indefinite restraining order at Leeds Crown Court. And now Lauren has reportedly opened up about the horror inflicted by the social media star whose posts have hundreds of thousands of views. They met in 2019 and the abuse began almost immediately it is reportedly claimed by Lauren. When she was 17 it is alleged she was stopped by her partner from using her phone, meeting friends and family while her social media use was monitored.

“We got together straight away, as soon as we met. I’d just turned 17, and she was my first love. I’d always wanted to be with her – she was quite well-known to people I knew, so I was head over heels when we got together,” Lauren told The Sun. “I just thought she couldn't do anything wrong. Then she started changing when we moved in together. When she’d had a drink, she’d argue with me over irrelevant things. I never argued back because I thought it was just the drink.”.

Lauren also spoke of how she had a child with another person when Hanson was in jail for driving offences in 2020 and this wasn’t liked by her. She reportedly said: “She didn’t like that I had a child with someone else. The thought of my baby having a dad made her sick. She destroyed every connection I had – I was pregnant, alone, and completely dependent on her. She spent my pregnancy telling me I shouldn’t have the baby.

“She was always jealous and even when I was giving birth she was whispering in my ear ‘if this kid looks like his dad I'm leaving you’." And then shockingly when her son was born Hanson allegedly burnt everything the baby had. “She threw it all in a fire bin in the garden – everything was gone. Every single thing he owned,” Lauren reportedly said. Then there were incidents where she was physically attacked and left wounded. In January 2020 she was attacked with a vodka bottle and knocked unconscious before her legs were slashed. By September last year, Lauren was looking to leave the relationship and the key moment came when she recorded an attack on her phone where she was being strangled.

She said: “She had her hands around my throat, only letting me breathe every few seconds. She said, ‘If you don’t tell me, I’m going to kill you. I’d rather kill you than let you be with anyone else.’ I genuinely thought I was going to die. I thought if I die now, someone has to know what happened. I genuinely thought I was filming my own death. I could see something had switched in her eyes this time compared to every other attack that she'd ever done.

Hanson is alleged to have deleted the video from her phone but Lauren had already managed to send it to her aunt and so it could be used as evidence. West Yorkshire Police said after Hanson was jailed: "The case has been publicised with the victim's permission in the hope that it will highlight domestic abuse in LGBTQ+ relationships and encourage other victims to come forward. "The charges relate to an incident in the early hours of 2 September last year. Hanson and the female victim had been socialising with another couple when Hanson got jealous of the victim’s relationship with one of the friends and became verbally abusive. The victim returned to Hanson’s home to collect her belongings and was followed there by Hanson who pinned her to the bed with a hand around the victim’s neck. During this time, Hanson made repeated threats about killing the victim.
