A mum-of-two has shared how she reduced her 'menopause belly' and saw her energy skyrocket in just six weeks through some simple lifestyle changes. Rhian Allen, from Sydney's northern beaches, noticed she'd gained 'a bit of tummy fat' as a result of menopause and decided to go on a quick health kick.

She had three goals: reducing cholesterol, losing the belly fat and boosting her energy. It was never about weight loss, in fact the health entrepreneur doesn't even own a set of scales. 'I noticed I had gained tummy fat when I tried on a pair of jeans I hadn't worn in a while, and they didn't fit the way they used to,' Rhian told FEMAIL.

['I was exercising three to four times a week plus doing a daily walk and throwing in a few swims too,' she said]

'Belly fat around menopause is common due to hormonal changes, reduced metabolism, and even increased stress levels, which can lead to higher cortisol production. 'I also know how dangerous visceral fat (fat around the abdomen) can be for our health - it's linked to an increased risk of heart disease, diabetes, and other health issues. Knowing this, I realised I needed to take action.'.

Rhian committed to six weeks of following her own Zing Wellbeing program to the letter - a comprehensive platform focusing on key areas like nutrition, fitness, women's health, mental wellness, education, and community support.
