Ian Wright names two ‘perfect’ January signings for Arsenal

Arsenal legend Ian Wright has picked out Omar Marmoush and Ademola Lookman as his dream signings for the January transfer window, claiming the duo would be ‘perfect’ for his former club. The Gunners sit third in the Premier League table after 17 matches, six points adrift of leaders Liverpool, who have a game in hand over the rest of their title rivals.

Ex-Arsenal striker Wright understands the difficulties that come with trying to sign players midway through the season but believes there are areas where the squad could be tweaked and improved.

Asked who he would sign in January to turn Arsenal’s season around, Wright told the Wrighty’s House podcast: ‘There are two players I would probably go for here. ‘I’d like people to have a look at Omar Marmoush at Eintracht Frankfurt and Ademola Lookman at Atalanta.
