After the festive indulgence, many people feel the pressure to get back in shape for the new year. After weeks of turkey, chocolate, and cosy nights in front of the TV, the thought of hitting the gym can seem overwhelming. If you're not ready to commit to long workouts or pricey gym memberships, celebrity personal trainer Aimee Victoria Long has a simple solution: start with 10-minute workouts.

Aimee, who works with high-profile clients like Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story star India Amarteifio, understands how difficult it can be to stay on track with fitness after the holiday season. She offers a straightforward and effective approach to getting back into shape without the need for fancy equipment or hours of time.

Why 10-minute workouts work. “If you’re tight on cash and can’t commit to a gym membership, home workouts are a fantastic alternative,” says Aimee. “I’m a big fan of online workouts, especially on YouTube. A 10-minute workout can be great, and if you only have time for 10 minutes a day, that’s 10 minutes better than doing nothing.”.

Short routines offer huge benefits. “The great thing about 10-minute workouts is that you can keep the intensity incredibly high with very little rest,” she explains. “A 45-60 minute workout requires longer breaks, but with 10 minutes, you can push yourself more.”.

The benefits of a quick routine. Aimee stresses that shorter workouts can still yield excellent results. “A 45-60 minute workout means longer breaks, and you can’t maintain intensity for that long. But if you’re doing seven 10-minute workouts per week, that’s over an hour of working out.”.
