I'm a professional cuddler and I run a salon for lonely people - it's so popular there's a waitlist A professional cuddler who makes a living from hugging clients has said that her service is so popular there is a waitlist.
Aleksandra Kasperek launched the unusual business two years ago in Katowice, Poland - after reading about a similar idea online.
Aleksandra, who has a degree in physiotherapy and is a trained masseuse, emphasises that her cuddling service is platonic.
After introducing herself, Aleksandra asks the client about any health conditions they have - including a sore throat, a runny nose, or a fever.
Then, the client is given time to read through the 'hug rules' which clearly state that any behaviour 'crossing sexual boundaries' will result in the session ending immediately.
