A VET nurse has revealed the five popular dog breeds she loves but would never own. Jade, a Registered Veterinary Nurse from the UK who has three dogs and three tortoises, explained that whilst Dalmatians have too much energy for her, Boxers will end up costing you a fortune with all their ailments.
Keen to share her thoughts, Jade took to social media to confess her feelings on five common breeds, leaving many totally stunned. So if you’re thinking of getting a furry friend and aren’t sure which pooch is right for you, then you’ve come to the right place and will need to take notes.
In a short clip shared online, Jade penned: “I’m a vet nurse and these are five dog breeds that I LOVE, but would never own myself.”. First things first, the animal pro claimed that she would never own a Dalmatian, because “they are mad as a box of frogs and have far too much energy for my lifestyle”.
She also shared that a Border Collie isn’t for her and she wouldn’t want a Boxer, whom she described as 'crazy' and explained: "They’re just a bit too bouncy for me and often have health ailments”. Jade also isn’t overly keen on owning a St. Bernard, as she stated: “Just too big, too hairy AND too slobbery, but I think they are fantastic though!”.
And when it comes to Huskies, she simply shared: “Wayyyyyy too much energy”. Jade claimed that these five breeds are “either too energetic, too high maintenance or have too many health ailments”. But despite this, she beamed: “But I love their personalities”.
