‘I’m kind of depressed a little’ – Boxing legend Mike Tyson’s alarming confession one month on from Jack Paul fight

MIKE TYSON has spoken candidly about his feelings after his defeat to Jake Paul back in November. Tyson, 58, has revealed that he has felt "depressed a little" in the aftermath of the defeat to the social media star, 31 years his junior. Iron Mike returned to the ring for the first time in 19 YEARS to take on Paul in Texas.
The bout had a huge build-up, not least because it was pushed back from July to November after Tyson suffered with an ulcer. And after the high of taking part in one of the most-watched sporting events ever, Tyson opened up on handling the fallout. Speaking to FOX Sports Radio, he said: "That fight was such a big ascent — we were so up and high, we were so excited.
"The fight's over, boom. Wow, I'm kind of depressed a little bit. "We got to get back [into] our living situation [daily life], back to living. [We were] training for it nine months". It's understood that over 108 million people tuned into watch the fight, which saw Tyson earn $20million as he fell to the seventh defeat of his boxing career.
Despite the sad ending to a legend's career, the former world champ has already highlighted his gratitude at being able to get back in the ring.
