Incredible moment motorbike 'thief' is sent sailing through the air after crashing into car - and then manages to get up and run away

This is the shocking moment an alleged motorbike thief is sent flying in the air after crashing into a car. The moment caught on video shows the motorcyclist speeding on Southfield Road, Huddersfield, West Yorks before smashing into the back of the light blue car causing him to sail through the air.

The motorbike is seen crashing to the ground as white smoke billows from it around 3.40pm on Monday. The moment caught on video shows the motorcyclist speeding on Southfield Road, Huddersfield, West Yorks. The motorcyclist then smashing into the back of the light blue car causing him to sail through the air.
The motorcyclist fled the scene following the crash. The car's occupant is not believed to have suffered serious injuries. The video goes on to show a police car and van as well as an ambulance at the scene with a group of passerbsy standing near the damaged motorbike.
West Yorkshire police in a statement said: 'Police received reports of a collision involving a motorcycle and a car at Southfield Road, Almondbury, Huddersfield, at 3:40pm today (16/12).'. 'The motorcyclist is reported to have fled the scene.'. 'The car's occupant is not believed to have suffered serious injuries.'.
