But, on New Year's Eve Younes, from Nablus in the West Bank, posted a video of himself shooting a firework through a bedroom window.
In a follow-up video, Younes went to the apartment and apologised to the homeowner telling him he didn't know how the rocket would fly and that he didn't mean for it to happen.
Atallah Younes, 23, was detained at Berlin's Willy Brandt on Saturday as he tried to flee the city following the shocking act.
The rocket flies through a dark window on the third floor before the room lights up in yellow and orange.
