Is there a new king of the jungle? Fashion editors reveal their fave animal print trends

THEY say the lion is the king of the animal world, but it's the leopard that has reigned supreme for the past few seasons. However, for 2025, there are some other spots and stripes coming for the leopard crown!. This season animal prints are fiercer than ever - and any print goes.
While leopard still dominates the high street, tiger, snake, cow and zebra are hot on its heels, with brands falling in love with anything inspired by patterned animals. Will you stick with spots? Or take stripes in your stride?. Here, the Fabulous fashion team reveal their top high-street buys in the hottest animal prints.
Jumper, £64.99, H&M. Skirt, £99, Mint Velvet. Shoes, £115, & Other Stories. Coat, £180, French Connection at John Lewis & Partners. Jacket, £349.99, Mango. I have been loving leopard print for quite some time now - I have a fair few pieces in my wardrobe ranging from jackets and skirts to jeans.
However, when out shopping last week, I came across this gorgeous zebra-print jacket in Mango. At £349.99 it's a hefty price tag, but the quality was undeniable and it's real leather, too. And so my zebra obsession began - and my search so far has led me to find other gems, too.
These ballet flats from & Other Stories are super-cool, adding a pop of print that will make any outfit stand out, while this jumper from H&M looks comfy and comes with a matching knit skirt. It's easy for zebra print to look slightly dated, so my top tip would be to look for chunkier stripes or stylish silhouettes to keep you bang on-trend for the season ahead.
