April Windsor's fate has finally been revealed on Emmerdale in a harrowing special episode. Tonight, we finally learned about what happened to April over the last month or so. April disappeared on Christmas Day and the last time viewers saw her, she jumped in the back of a car and headed away from the village. It has now been revealed exactly what happened to her over the last month or so. April was picked up by a taxi from the village and headed towards town, hoping she could stay with some of her friends she had met whilst out at parties.

With just a little bit of cash with her, April couldn't reach any of her friends and ended up checking into a hotel in town which cost her £84 and ate into most of the money she had taken with her. After the first night, with no money left, she ended up finding a quiet corner of a disused car park and ended up sleeping rough amongst old cardboard. Later, a man was seen approaching April and offering for her to stay with him - only for a guy to step in when the man's true intentions were revealed. April was then seen throwing up, and concerned, the young man took her back to where they stay.

April tried to get back in contact with her friends but no one was answering, and it was revealed that her friends had blocked her and she couldn't get through. Things got even worse when April confirmed she was pregnant. During the episode, we also learned about the young woman that was found with a stab wound. Her name was Bex and she had befriended April. However, in tragic scenes, when another guy came past and stole April's purse, Bex ran after him.

Tragically, Bex was stabbed - and this was the young girl who was rushed into accident and emergency and wrongly identified as April whilst in hospital, leaving Marlon and Rhona devastated. In sad scenes, April struggled with her pregnancy revealing it was why she left, saying: "Why did I have to get pregnant? This baby has ruined my whole life." Later, she started experiencing pains and begged for help - with no one coming to her aid.

At the end of the episode, in absolutely devastating scenes, April had a stillbirth in the toilets of a gym she had snuck into. Heartbreakingly, she told her baby she was sorry as the episode ended, with fans devastated by the scenes.
