With so many different Jellycats available, it can be hard to stop at one - as one woman knows all too well having spent more than £4,000 on her collection. Megan Goldberger is so obsessed with the plush toys that she's had to start selling her clothes to help fund her ever-growing collection - and it doesn't look like she will stop any time soon.

The 27-year-old from Cardiff, Wales, fell in love with the cute toys after seeing influencers producing content on social media, and soon started collecting her own. Purchasing a Jellycat aubergine in February 2024, Megan's collection has now grown to 150 toys.

But she has faced growing negativity over her habit, with people telling her it's a "waste of money" and questioning why an adult is spending all their money on Jellycats. But she says it 'heals her inner child'. The influencer said: "I've always loved teddy bears. I used to joke about selling my clothes for Jelly cats but now I actually do. My JellyCats heal my inner child.".

Megan also hunts out discontinued Jellycats and recalled the time when she found an old edition bunny on eBay and spent £400 on the toy which would have previously retailed at £15.99. She now reckons she's forked out £4,000 on her collection of 150 - which are currently on show in her bedroom. She hopes to move out of her parents and decorate an entire home with Jellycats.

"I can't wait to move out of my parents house and be able to decorate my home in Jellycats - especially in the Christmas season," she added. And hitting back at the haters, she argued: "There are worse things I could be doing then collecting Jellycats. I will always clap back at a troll. You don't have to watch. I do things that bring me joy.
