Chase, who had nine receptions for 102 yards on Saturday, took to social media to praise his quarterback after game, offering a three-word verdict. Ja'Marr Chase could not hide his delight at Joe Burrow's performance in the Bengals' huge win. . He wrote: 'POP IT SHIEST'.

Shiest is one of a number of nicknames given to Burrow since he moved into the NFL with the No. 1 overall pick in 2020. The name was given to him by TikTok influencer Traphouse Sports. Urban Dictionary defines shiesty as 'an action that is greedy and/or inconsiderate. When someone is shiesty it means they don't think about others and do things that help them even if they know it harms someone else in anyway.'.

That certainly fits with Burrow at the moment, given the way he is carving up NFL defenses. Cowboys star Micah Parsons even argued Burrow's case for the coveted Most Valuable Player award following the Broncos game. In fact, the Dallas Cowboys star believes it should not even be up for debate if he propels his team into the postseason.
