The British singer, who was born in Georgia, said: “I remember one of the therapy tools that I got from hospital was like take one day at a time.
The 40-year-old said she now wanted to make music “until I die” after the 2010 incident, which left her in hospital for six weeks and forced her to take a break from her career.
The Nine Million Bicycles singer said she had learned to look after herself better, saying she had found out what “small warning signs might be”.
