JD Vance today told the Munich Security Conference that US could send troops to Ukraine if Putin doesn't negotiate in good faith.
The VP's fighting words come after European nations rebuked the US on Thursday for beginning talks to end Russia's invasion directly with the Kremlin but without including Ukraine.
UKRAINE is on an "irreversible path to NATO” membership, Sir Keir Starmer said this morning in an apparent split from the United States.
A Downing Street spokeswoman said: “The Prime Minister began by reiterating the UK’s concrete support for Ukraine, for as long as it’s needed.
“The Prime Minister reiterated the UK’s commitment to Ukraine being on an irreversible path to NATO, as agreed by Allies at the Washington Summit last year.”.
