It comes just days after it was revealed his cancer treatment is expected to carry on into the new year, almost a year on from his diagnosis and hospital trips where he was treated for an enlarged prostate.

Sources close to the Royals revealed treatment had been "moving in a positive direction" and things are expected to carry on as usual due to the treatment cycle of the condition.

Both Charles and Camilla will be hosting several family embers at Sandringham on Christmas Day, with the Prince of Wales revealing there's set to be up to 45 people in the room on the big day.
