KOURTNEY Kardashian and Lizzo are among the huge names who shared their final posts ahead of the TikTok ban. Celebrities and influencers across the US are mourning the shutdown of the app after it was ruled a national security risk. The ban has been enforced over security fears regarding the app due to its ownership by Chinese firm ByteDance.
Kourtney shared a highlight reel of her best moments and said: "If this is goodbye, we love you TikTok.". Lizzo hit out at the government but seemed optimistic that the app "would be saved". She told fans: "I know all the things that are going on, but you know how mentally abusive people like to say stuff to scare you and make you feel scarcity and they get some sort of sick, twisted satisfaction of it?.
"Don't you think that the government likes seeing us stressed and scared and fearful? It really feels like it. "So no, I'm choosing to not be fearful right now. I am not afraid.". She also shared a snap of her in a hammock with the words: "UFOs are hovering the ocean, Trump is president, the planets are literally about to align, they discovered multi dimensions, a spacecraft exploded over the Gulf of Mexcico, TikTok is ending.".
Heidi Montag was a little more light-hearted in her approach and shared video where she shouted: "They're saying there's only five more minutes left of TikTok!. "Oh no what are we going to do? No, no, no," she laughed with her hand on her forehead. "Please Jesus, we need this, help our family, please God," she added.
