Kyle Walker and Annie Kilner have made a huge decision about their future. Last year, Annie is said to have met with lawyers to nail through the details of their marriage and any possible outcome on finances and split custody should they go ahead and officially split. It was said in October that Annie was allegedly fighting to get half of Kyle's eye-watering £27 million fortune. The pair married in 2022 after a 12 year relationship, having met as teenagers in their hometown of Sheffield.
The Sheffield-born defender, 34, is rumoured to be weighing up the possibility of signing for a deal and moving to Saudi Arabia. In light of the discussions, reports claimed that Annie, 33, was pausing their divorce proceedings. Friends of the former model claim that the "life-changing" deal in terms of signing a contract for a huge sum of money have not been the reasoning behind Annie's decision.
But the Mirror can now reveal the truth behind what is going on behind closed doors at their Prestbury, Cheshire, mansion. Cheshire sources close to the couple have revealed to the Mirror that any speculation that Annie was staying with Kyle for his finances are "nonsense." Reports earlier this week claimed that Annie was pausing their ongoing matters given the discussions surrounding Kyle moving to Saudi, where he could make in excess of £400,000 per week.
"Any suggestion that Annie is staying with Kyle for financial benefit is absolute nonsense and pure speculation," our source told us. They went on to add: "The couple are still navigating their relationship behind the scenes but will always come together to be there for their children who they both absolutely adore.
