Kyle Walker witnessed his new manager at AC Milan involved in a furious bust-up with their club captain just days after joining the club from Manchester City. Walker, 34, has signed for Milan on loan until the end of this season. The Italian giants will have the option to sign Walker permanently for around £4million once the summer transfer window opens.

The England international watched from the stands at San Siro on Sunday, as Milan welcomed Parma in Serie A. The visitors took a surprise lead in the first half before finding themselves 2-1 up going into added time. Late goals from Tijjani Reijnders and Samuel Chukwueze dramatically made it 3-2, rescuing all three points in boss Sergio Conceicao's third league game since replacing Paulo Fonesca. After the final whistle, though, Conceicao came rushing towards right-back Davide Calabria, who'd been subbed off in the 77th minute, and the pair nearly came to blows.

They had to be separated by club staff, as the Milan manager was visibly angry with Calabria. Linked with a move away following Walker's arrival, Calabria has recently had the captain's armband taken off him and given to goalkeeper Mike Maignan. It was reported ahead of the fixture that Conceicao wasn't happy with the 28-year-old attending a concert on Friday. Calabria spoke about the incident post-match, saying: "Honestly, these are things that happened on the pitch: a misunderstanding between the two of us, we wanted to play this game.

"The adrenaline was really high and we cleared things up, we didn't understand one thing about each other. We fixed things: it won't be the first or the last time you see it. It's common in football. I also apologise because it's not a nice thing. The most important thing is the team and having turned the game around.".
