Landscaper killed after being dragged headfirst into wood chipper in front of horrified colleagues while trimming trees A TREE trimmer has died after he was brutally dragged headfirst into a wood chipper as colleagues watched in horror.
Ocean Ridge Police Department said: “Upon arrival, Ocean Ridge officers found one person had died from injuries sustained in the accident, no other individuals on scene sustained injuries.
Police arrived at the grim scene at around 9:30am, outside the Ocean Ridge Town Hall where the team had been working on trimming trees.
She said the man "was working by themself doing tree trimming and feeding a wood chipper" when the ordeal took place and that "other members of the crew saw it happening".
The man, who has not been identified, died at the scene after suffering devastating injuries in Ocean Ridge, Florida.
