Lewis Hamilton has been reunited with his long-time ally Angela Cullen after making his first visit to Ferrari this week. The seven-time world champion has opened the door on a new era and has been to the team's Maranello factory. Cullen accompanied Hamilton across four of his six world championship successes during his time at Mercedes. She was his chief confidante and assistant and will be close by in Italy.

The 50-year-old New Zealand physio is staying in Fiorano, down the road from the Scuderia’s front gates, reports the Daily Mail. Hamilton and Cullen did go their separate ways early in the 2023 season, for reasons unknown, but are now back alongside each other.

Her reappearance in Italy suggests that Hamilton is aiming to surround himself with the right people as he looks to land one more world title to his CV at Ferrari, aged 40. The Brit once described Cullen as "one of the best things that has happened to me in my life".

Hamilton first arrived at Ferrari's factory doors in the morning and promised a "new era in the history of this iconic team". He posed outside founder Enzo Ferrari’s iconic office for his official unveiling picture, dressed in a black suit. He met key figures including his new race engineer Riccardo Adami, who has remained in his role after fulfilling the same role for Hamilton’s predecessor Carlos Sainz, who left the team to join Williams after Hamilton's signing was announced nearly a year ago.
