Liam Payne's girlfriend Kate Cassidy has revealed an emotional new tattoo two months on the One Direction star's tragic death. Liam died at age 31 on October 16 after falling from a third-floor balcony of a hotel in Buenos Aires, and Kate, 25, later revealed that she and the 'love of her life' were planning their future together and he wanted to marry her in a year.
Taking to her Instagram Stories on Sunday she shared a glimpse of angel wings on her on her left index and middle finger. In the snap Kate lovingly cuddled the couple's dog Nala, who they adopted together just a month before Liam's death. The singer doted on the pooch and one day hoped might form part of a 'nice and loving family'.
He previously described the encounter which led to the adoption as a 'meet and greet with a couple doggos'. Speaking of his furry friend, he added: 'I really love her. She is so cute. She is a tiny new member of the family for a while. 'We're going to foster her for a while and get her really nice for a loving family I think. But we might be the nice family.'.
Kate had added: 'We did a meet and greet with three different dogs and this one fit us best. She's so sweet. She's only four months old. She was abandoned by her previous owners and dumped at the shelter. We wanted to give her a second chance and a better life.'.
