LIAM Payne’s heartbroken girlfriend Kate Cassidy has quietly got a tattoo tribute to the late singer and will go into 2025 cuddled up with their rescue dog Nala. The influencer, 25, has two angel wings inked on her finger to signify Liam looking down on her like a guardian angel.
In her statement shortly after his death on October 16, Kate said: “Liam my angel. I want you to know I love you unconditionally and completely. I will continue to love you for the rest of my life.”. Liam and Kate had both been in Argentina to renew the singer’s US Visa and see his former bandmate Niall Horan perform.
Kate left the country for the US two days before his death. The Sun can reveal Kate will see in the new year in New York City with her closest girl pals and her beloved pooch Nala. A source said: “Kate has been through absolute hell losing Liam and under such tragic circumstances.
“She is seeing in the New Year with those closest to her, and is relieved to be back in the States surrounded by her family and also reunited with Nala, the dog she and Liam rescued.”. Liam and Kate rescued the pup from Urgent Dogs of Miami earlier this summer.
Liam said at the time: “I am in love. They were euthanizing dogs and we couldn’t hack it so we are fostering this little puppy. We can kind of see why she needs fostering now as she is biting the life out of everyone. “I really love her. She is so cute. She is a tiny new member of the family for a while. we are going to foster her for a while and get her really nice for a loving family I think… but we might be the nice family.”.
