When your dad is Johnny Depp and your mum Vanessa Paradis, you'd perhaps expect their daughter to boast about her fame and riches thanks to her multi-millionaire parents. But Lily-Rose Depp is so keen to make her own way as a Hollywood star, and insists that she works harder than most other young starlets to make it.
In an interview with Josh Horrowitz on his Happy Sad Confused podcast on Thursday, the 25-year-old star revealed she works harder to prove herself because of who her parents are. 'I don't mind working harder if that's what people want from me to prove myself,' she said.
'I love what I do, it's the only thing I know how to do. So I feel like I have to do this. 'And if that means working ten times harder, then that's okay. I am not ashamed, my parents are such talented performers. I am blessed to be their daughter and watch them go about their careers.'.

Clearly keen to go under the radar, Lily-Rose rarely shares much to her 8.3 million Instagram followers apart from red carpet snaps and trailers for new projects. She also refuses to openly defend her father, whose turbulent relationship with Amber Heard which ended up in court over claims he abused her.
