Khvicha Kvaratskhelia would make a huge impact at any of the Premier League’s leading clubs according to Georgia assistant coach David Webb. The Napoli forward has earned a reputation as one of Europe’s most exciting young forwards following his performances for the Italian side over the course of the last two years.
Kvaratskhelia enhanced his burgeoning reputation with a series of outstanding displays for his country at Euro 2024 and now looks destined to take the next step in his career. A move in the January transfer window looks on the cards and although Paris Saint-Germain appear to be leading the race for a player valued at around £67 million, English clubs are closely monitoring his situation.
Chelsea and Liverpool, in particular, have been strongly linked with moves for the 23-year-old. Arne Slot remained coy when questioned about his interest in Kvaratskhelia speaking ahead of this weekends FA Cup third round tie against Accrington Stanley.
‘What I make of that is that it’s January,’ said the Reds boss. ‘I think I said after the West Ham game not to disappoint me, please come up with all these clubs and all these players that have interest from us or the ones that don’t play a lot for us to go somewhere else. That is what’s happening now.
